Product Description:
Ppgi/ppgl is made up of a base metal, consisting of cold-rolled steel, hot dipped galvanized steel, electro-galvanized steel and hot dipped galvalume steel. With an organic layer, the metal provides higher anti-corrosion property and a longer lifespan than galvanized steel sheet. As far as the coating material is concerned, the material consists of polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride, and high-durability polyester among a few others.
Features:
The major advantage of using galvalume steel sheet rather than galvanized steel sheet is the strong corrosion resistance of the former, which is three times that of the latter sheet. This is due to the fact that aluminum has a lower density than zinc. If the weight and the thickness of the plating layer are the same, the area of the galvalume steel sheet is 3% or more than that of the galvanized steel sheet.
Another benefit of galvalume steel sheet is that it allows for more even and stable coating compared to single spraying or brushing on the surface of the formed metal. This is made possible by chemical pretreatment, preliminary coating and fine coating.
